Our Planned Giving Societies at MBA are used to recognize, honor, and thank those who have made provisions for MBA in their estate plans. By making thoughtful planned gifts, these individuals are laying the foundation for future generations of MBA students.
MBA’s first planned gift came from the founder’s bequest to establish an academy for boys in Nashville. Over the years MBA has benefited from planned gifts, large and small, and these enduring and transformative gifts are some of the school’s greatest assets. One recent planned gift established five endowed scholarships for financial aid, which now benefit the MBA named scholars program for future generations.
We have recently updated and formalized our planned giving levels and corresponding societies, as delineated below.
- ≥ $1,000,000 – H. Frank Burkholder, Jr. Society
- ≥ $500,000 – Gentleman, Scholar, Athlete Society
- ≥ $100,000 – The Hill Society
- < $100,000 – James Robertson Society
At any level, your planned gift will leave a personal legacy to support future generations of young men at MBA – as they continue to strive for the ideal of Gentleman, Scholar, and Athlete.
